Meet Jeff Lyle
Kenneth Jeffery Lyle, otherwise known as Jeff to everyone is the brains behind Home Living Construction. His father was a general contractor, so you could say he was born into this industry. He has lived in the Northern Virginia area for over 30 years and has over 20 years of experience in construction and restoration. Over the years he has built an arsenal of knowledge and contacts to fully equip him success. His desire to help families in a time of trouble or crisis has fueled his company and continues to ignite his passion for restoring homes. Jeff is not just a contractor or estimator, he’s a people person. Construction is his industry, but people are his specialty. He will often try to tell you a dad joke or ask you about your day or life just because he cares. When you are talking to Jeff, you don’t see the “boss” and “businessman”, you’ll see a caretaker and friend.
Besides running a business, Jeff is a husband and a father. He has been married to Aubrey for over 15 years and they have four beautiful daughters, Audrey, Renee, Alana, and Robyn. And recently he has added “Grandpa” to his list of titles, when Audrey and his son-in-law, Christian had Lincoln. When he’s not working, he loves taking naps, listening to books, and spending time with his family. Jeff loves baseball games and telling jokes (even when his wife doesn’t think they’re funny).
You will also see him give back to his community. In partnership with local churches and leaders, he was influential in opening a hypothermia homeless shelter in Manassas. He does mentorship programs in the Prince William County jail and is involved with Revealed Love Ministries in opening a feeding center in Tacloban, Philippines with his wife Aubrey.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Flying. I fell off a roof decades ago and it would have been invaluable, at that time, to be able to fly to rescue myself.
